About The Position
We are seeking an organized and friendly dental office receptionist to welcome patients and help create a positive, stress-free experience. The role includes greeting patients, answering phones, managing appointments and recalls, collecting payments, and verifying and updating patient insurance information. Candidates must have dental office experience, including at least three years of experience with Dentrix and dental insurance.
Requirements
- Dental office experience.
- At least three years of experience using Dentrix software.
- At least three years of dental insurance knowledge.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and answer phones warmly and professionally.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments to keep the office schedule running smoothly.
- Maintain a full and efficient schedule.
- Collect payments and help patients schedule appropriate appointments based on treatment needs.
- Schedule follow-up visits and manage six-month recalls.
- Help create a positive, stress-free experience for patients.
- Verify patient insurance and update information as needed.
