About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a customer-focused Breakfast Server for the StateView Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. The role is responsible for creating a positive restaurant experience by welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu, taking and serving orders accurately, and resolving concerns. The server prepares the restaurant before service and works closely with other servers and kitchen and bar staff. The position calls for an engaging attitude, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and a passion for exceptional guest service.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of food service experience.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An engaging and welcoming personality.
- Ability to describe and sell menu items.
- Passion for creating an exceptional experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant before the shift and upcoming service.
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
- Guide guests through the menu with descriptive selling.
- Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
- Learn menu details to enhance conversations with guests.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
- Assist guests with concerns and help reach a satisfactory resolution.
- Present bills accurately and promptly.
