About The Position
Delta Hotels by Marriott is hiring breakfast servers to provide food and beverage service to hotel guests and other customers seeking breakfast or lunch. The role involves taking and delivering orders, providing room service, and working directly with all hotel departments. Candidates should be friendly, courteous, timely, and demonstrate a hospitality-focused approach.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Ability to use a knife to cut bread, handle glassware and serving items, scoop ice, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
- Ability to carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds through a crowded room continuously throughout a shift.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Check and stock stations before, during, and after shifts to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
- Greet guests courteously, present menus, and explain specials or restaurant promotions.
- Record guest orders and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale computer.
- Deliver orders and confirm their accuracy.
- Replenish beverages and check with guests about their overall satisfaction.
- Ensure workstations meet sanitation and safety standards for guests and team members.
- Perform general cleaning, wipe down tables, and reset tables for new guests.
- Take and deliver room-service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests.
