About The Position

The Breakfast Server, also described as the Bistro Server, provides food and beverage service to hotel guests. The role includes food preparation, making food and drinks, taking orders, serving guests, stocking supplies, wiping down tables, and cleaning and preparing the area for the next day. The server engages with hotel guests to help ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Shifts usually begin at 6:00 a.m. and continue until 11:00 a.m., or until closing cleanup is complete. The position may involve working as a cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server during a single shift. Requirements

Flexibility to work shifts and report for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, stocked, and sanitized prep cooler.
Work in multiple roles during a shift, including cook, server, bartender, barista, and banquet server.
Follow cleanliness and food-handling standards and use chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Set up and maintain food and beverage items during food service, meetings, and special guest functions, ensuring appropriate quantities and temperatures.
Follow company policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer.
Clean the service area after food service according to standards and procedures.
Carry out reasonable requests from management.
Prepare and serve food and drinks, take orders, stock supplies, wipe down tables, engage with hotel guests, and clean and prepare the area for the next day.
