About The Position
The Breakfast Server welcomes guests, provides knowledgeable menu guidance, accurately takes and serves food and drink orders, and attends to guests throughout the dining experience. The role includes responsible beverage service in compliance with liquor laws, bussing and resetting tables, preparing non-mixed drinks, soups, and salads, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness. The position is at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Wichita Falls and is primarily indoors, with flexible hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The work involves standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
- Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly.
- Offer menu suggestions and answer questions with knowledgeable advice.
- Ensure responsible beverage service in compliance with liquor laws.
- Accurately take and serve food and drink orders while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Attend to guests' needs, including bussing and resetting tables.
- Prepare non-mixed drinks, soups, and salads.
- Process payments and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining experience.
