About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Breakfast Server to provide guest service in a hotel or restaurant setting. The role includes seating guests, taking and processing food orders, monitoring food delivery and presentation, maintaining a clean and properly set station, following liquor regulations, and assisting with table bussing. The server should know menu items and service procedures, handle checks and payments, communicate effectively, and work flexible hours and shifts. Requirements

High school education or equivalent level of education; post-high-school education is preferred.
At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Team-player mindset.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic math skills to make change and issue refunds.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, and ensure the buffet is appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after the shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Know menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
