About The Position
DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Breakfast Attendant to serve food and beverages while providing exceptional guest service. The role supports a positive experience for guests and colleagues in a supportive hospitality environment. Requirements
- One to three months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and closing the breakfast buffet using provided checklists.
- Greet guests and clearly describe breakfast options.
- Deliver made-to-order items from the kitchen to tables.
- Enter orders into the cash register and collect accurate payment.
- Prepare coffee and specialty drinks, including café lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
- Clear, clean, and reset dining tables as needed.
- Observe diners to respond to additional requests and determine when meals are complete.
- Properly record sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
- Stock and replenish the breakfast buffet.
- Complete the daily inventory prep sheet.
- Remain knowledgeable about current food and beverage offerings.
- Escort guests to tables as needed.
- Follow food safety and handling policies and procedures, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast buffet and surrounding areas.
- Provide guests with information about hotel hours and available services.
