About The Position

The server provides professional, friendly, and attentive service to hotel guests while preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with brand standards and applicable laws. The role operates the point-of-sale system, maintains a clean, safe, and well-stocked workspace, and follows food safety guidelines. Servers also answer questions about the property and local attractions, assist guests with local information, anticipate guest needs, and resolve complaints to support guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and a stable work history.
• Ability to work an entire shift on your feet at a quick pace.
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed, including weekends.
• Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar equipment.
• Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot environment and stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to express compassion while remaining composed and to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Ability to represent the property positively, anticipate guest needs, and respect diverse, multicultural environments.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 6 months of experience in food and beverage service.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale system and prepare food and beverages in accordance with brand standards.
• Serve guests in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked workspace.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction.
