About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to serve food and beverages while providing exceptional guest service. The role involves preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet, taking and processing orders, delivering food and drinks, and helping guests with information about hotel services. The position also supports cleanliness, food safety, and inventory procedures.

Requirements

One to three months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up and closing the breakfast buffet using provided checklists.
Greet guests and clearly describe breakfast options.
Deliver made-to-order items from the kitchen to tables.
Enter orders into the cash register and secure accurate payment.
Prepare coffee and specialty drinks, including café lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Clear, clean, and reset dining tables as needed.
Observe diners, respond to additional requests, and determine when meals are complete.
Properly record sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
Stock and replenish the breakfast buffet.
Complete the daily inventory preparation sheet.
Stay knowledgeable about current food and beverage offerings.
Escort guests to tables as needed.
Follow food safety and handling procedures, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast buffet and surrounding areas.
Provide guests with information about hotel hours and available services.
