About The Position

As part of the Food and Beverage team, the Breakfast Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The position is anticipated to start in late April or early May. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.

Requirements

TIPS/TAMS certification; certification may be obtained after employment.
Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maximize the use of time, resources, and technology.
Professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms frequently; and taste or smell occasionally.
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds.
Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Previous server experience.
POS experience.
Non-smoking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations to resort guests.
Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests accurately and promptly.
Pre-bus tables between each course.
Perform side work as required by the service station assignment.
Complete opening and closing checklists.
Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
Monitor and check on guests during their dining experience.
Ensure the guest experience exceeds expectations for food and service.
Respond promptly and courteously to requests.
Attend scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
