About The Position

The Breakfast Server at Arbor Restaurant is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The server prepares the restaurant before service, welcomes guests, guides them through the menu with descriptive selling, accurately records orders and special requests, and presents bills promptly and accurately. The role involves working collaboratively with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff, and helping resolve guest concerns. The position offers an opportunity to grow and learn at a world-class property.

Requirements

• Have an engaging and welcoming personality.
• Be descriptive and able to sell menu items.
• Have 2–4 years of food service experience.
• Have knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for guests.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before the service ahead.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests through the menu with descriptive selling.
• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
• Know menu details to enhance conversations with guests.
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Assist guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
• Present bills in a timely and accurate manner.
