About The Position
NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician II to support customers in the Southwest/Little Rock, Arkansas area. The Field Services organization keeps self-service technology operating for retailers and financial institutions. In this customer-facing role, you will be a first-line response for customer needs, organize and triage issues, provide professional service, and help prevent problems where possible. NCR Atleos provides virtual and hands-on training, along with support from teachers, mentors, and coaches. The technician services electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory. Work includes installations, scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, system overhauls, and resolving hardware, software, networking, configuration, access, security, and remote-connectivity issues. Technicians must follow company policies and safety, timekeeping, fleet, and driving requirements. Reassignment to adjacent territories may occur during standard shifts. Employees may elect to take overnight travel assignments under company travel and reimbursement policies.
Requirements
- Be a local candidate to the specific geographic area.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Be at least 19 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and a driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
- Have PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with operating systems.
- Be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to travel for prolonged periods, including driving several hours per day.
- Be able to work rotating and weekend shifts.
- Be able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA certification, or N+ Certification.
- One or more years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
- Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-configuration issues.
- Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
- Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
- Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
- Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
- Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe-driving requirements.
- Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
- May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs.
- May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage.
