About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician II to support customers in Erie, Pennsylvania. As a front-line representative of the Field Services organization, the technician keeps essential self-service technology operating for retailers and financial institutions by providing reliable, customer-focused service. The position involves responding to customer issues, identifying solutions, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. NCR Atleos provides virtual and hands-on training, along with support from teachers, mentors, and coaches. The technician services electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory. Duties include installations, scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, system overhauls, and troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and system configuration issues. The role may involve reassignment to adjacent service territories during standard shifts. Employees may also elect to take overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage, subject to company policy and reimbursement guidelines.

Requirements

One or more years of related experience.
Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
Authorized to work in the United States.
At least 19 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
Ability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged travel with several hours of driving per day; rotating and weekend shifts; carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance; and bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
Be available for reassignment to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs.
May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage.
