About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I to provide on-site first-line service at customer locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area. The technician troubleshoots ATM issues at a basic module level, performs minor maintenance and repairs, plans and organizes work, and escalates issues when appropriate. The role applies skills learned through hands-on, in-the-field training; prior ATM experience is not required. Technicians use a company-provided Android phone and service app to diagnose issues and communicate clear, accurate updates to customers. The hourly rate is $14.00, with an additional $6.00 per completed activity. The position involves servicing ATMs indoors and outdoors, maintaining parts inventory and records, and accurately reporting work performed, hours, and miles driven. Work may be dispatched on a call-by-call basis or follow a daily schedule. A flexible schedule may include nights, weekends, overtime, or flex shifts, and the role may involve travel in inclement weather and outdoor work in all seasons.

Requirements

Must reside in the specified geographic area.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
High personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to learn new skills quickly and work under pressure.
Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Familiarity with and ability to operate an Android cell phone.
Reliable transportation for work purposes.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, overtime, or flex shifts.
Ability to work safely outdoors during all seasons and potentially be exposed to the elements.
Ability to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather.
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.
Must meet minimum insurance coverage requirements: bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident, and property damage liability of $100,000 per accident.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
Complete NCR Atleos training and certifications on the company training website.
Use ATM error logs and information in the service app to diagnose problems.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs at indoor and outdoor locations.
Accurately and promptly report work updates, details, and call closure information.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Report hours worked and miles driven daily.
Organize and plan work time, resolve basic module-level problems, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Communicate clearly with customers using the service app.
