About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I to serve as the first line of response at customer locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The technician performs basic module-level troubleshooting and minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, applying skills learned through hands-on, on-the-job training. The role involves organizing and planning work, recognizing when to escalate issues, and communicating clearly with customers through the company service app. No prior ATM experience is required.

Requirements

Reside in the specified geographic area.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Demonstrate personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Have basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge.
Have problem-solving skills, learn new skills quickly, and work well under pressure.
Have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company requirements.
Be familiar with using and operating an Android cell phone.
Have reliable transportation for work purposes.
Be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts.
Be able to work safely outdoors in all seasons and potential exposure to the elements.
Provide and maintain minimum insurance coverage of $100,000 bodily injury liability per person, $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage liability per accident.
Be able to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather.
Be able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
Complete NCR Atleos-specific training and certifications.
Diagnose ATM problems using error logs and information provided through the service app.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs indoors and outdoors.
Report work updates and details accurately and promptly, including call closure details.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Accurately report hours worked and miles driven each day.
