About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I to provide on-site service for ATMs. The technician is the first line of response at customer locations, troubleshooting at a basic module level, managing work independently, and escalating issues when needed. The role applies knowledge gained through on-the-job training to resolve straightforward service problems and uses the company service app to communicate clearly and consistently with customers. NCR Atleos provides hands-on field training; prior ATM experience is not required. Compensation is $14.00 per hour plus $6.00 for each activity completed. Work may take place at a variety of customer locations, including outdoors. Dispatch may be call-by-call or follow a daily schedule. The position requires a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and proof of specified minimum automobile insurance coverage. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must reside in the specified geographic area.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
High personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to learn new skills quickly and work well under pressure.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
Familiarity with and ability to use an Android cell phone; a company phone is provided.
Reliable transportation for work purposes.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, and/or flex shifts.
Ability to safely work outdoors in all seasons and potential exposure to the elements.
Ability to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather.
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.
Proof of minimum automobile insurance coverage: bodily injury liability of at least $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident, and property damage liability of at least $100,000 per accident; coverage must be maintained.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
Complete NCR Atleos training and certifications through the company training website.
Diagnose problems using ATM error logs and information from the service app on a company-provided cell phone.
Perform minor ATM maintenance and repairs indoors and outdoors.
Promptly and accurately report work updates and details, including call-closure details.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Accurately report hours worked and miles driven daily.
Organize and plan work time effectively and escalate issues to the appropriate person when necessary.
Communicate consistently and clearly through the service app to support customer satisfaction.
