About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I to provide first-line, on-site service at customer locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The technician will use knowledge gained through hands-on, on-the-job training to troubleshoot and maintain ATMs at a basic module level, resolve straightforward task-related problems, and escalate issues when appropriate. No prior ATM experience is required. The role involves indoor and outdoor ATM maintenance and minor repairs, using ATM error logs and a company-provided service app and Android phone. Technicians are expected to plan and organize their time, maintain parts inventory and records, report work details and hours accurately, and communicate clearly to support customer satisfaction. Work may be dispatched on a call-by-call basis or follow a daily schedule.

Requirements

Reside in the specified geographic area.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Have a high level of personal integrity and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Have basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge.
Have strong problem-solving skills, learn new skills quickly, and work well under pressure.
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company requirements.
Be familiar with and able to use an Android cell phone; a company-provided phone is supplied.
Have reliable transportation for work purposes.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts.
Be able to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather.
Be able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.
Be able to work safely outdoors in all seasons and with potential exposure to the elements.
Provide proof of minimum insurance coverage: bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident, and property damage liability of $100,000 per accident.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
Complete NCR Atleos training and certifications.
Diagnose problems using ATM error logs and information provided through the service app.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs indoors and outdoors.
Promptly and accurately report work updates, work performed, and call closure details.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Accurately report hours worked and miles driven each day.
Organize and plan work time effectively and escalate issues when appropriate.
Communicate clearly using the service app to maintain customer satisfaction.
