About The Position

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I to provide on-site first-line service at customer locations in the Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas area. The technician troubleshoots ATMs at a basic module level, performs minor maintenance and repairs, and applies knowledge gained through hands-on, on-the-job training. The role requires planning and organizing work, recognizing when to escalate issues, and communicating clearly with customers through the company service app. No prior ATM experience is required; training is provided.

Requirements

Reside in the specified geographic area.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Authorization to work in the United States.
High personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, skills, and knowledge.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new skills quickly and work under pressure.
Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
Familiarity with and ability to use an Android cell phone.
Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts.
Ability to safely work outdoors in all seasons and potential exposure to the elements.
Ability to travel for several hours during the workday, including in inclement weather.
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes.
Proof of minimum auto insurance coverage: bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident, and property damage liability of $100,000 per accident; coverage must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
Complete NCR Atleos training and certifications through the company training website.
Diagnose problems using ATM error logs and information provided through the service app.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on indoor and outdoor ATMs.
Promptly and accurately report work updates, work details, and call closure information.
Maintain parts inventory and related records.
Accurately report daily hours worked and miles driven.
Organize and plan work time effectively and escalate issues when needed.
Communicate clearly and consistently through the service app to support customer satisfaction.
