About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years administrative office experience required.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word Office, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom required.
• Ability to respond to difficult and stressful situations in an effective and positive manner required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Must have excellent organization skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in person, in writing, and by telephone and email.
• Must have working knowledge and be able to use office machines, such as calculator, copier, fax, scanner, printer, and computer.
• The position will have access to confidential information requiring discretion and maintaining the strictest confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Office Administration or related degree preferred.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and Kronos is preferred.
• Knowledge of Tribal programs and services, Tribal organizational structure, divisions, departments, program supervisors, staff and other appropriate contacts and access to applicable federal and state policies and regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of Human Resources office workflow, organizational structure and operational policies and procedures preferred.
• Native American preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct all incoming internal and external customers (in-person, phone calls, and/or emails) for the Kewadin Casinos HR Department.
• Assist with processing paperwork within the Kewadin Casinos HR Dept.
• Take and document meeting minutes for the department.
• Maintain and order office supplies and/or equipment for the Kewadin HR Dept, by disbursing and maintaining the supply room.
• Coordinate travel for the Kewadin Casinos HR Department verifying travel is booked and reconciled in accordance with all Kewadin Casinos Travel Policies.
• Receive and distribute office mail.
• Maintain annual calendar for Kewadin Casinos HR Department and staff.
• Track and report on the status of assignments and projects within the department, conveys necessary information relevant to the performance of assignments to the Director.
• Prepare forms for purchasing, exit interviews, and Kewadin Casino HR surveys.
• Assist with preparing monthly and/or periodic reports.
• Responsible for scanning and saving documents as assigned.
• Assist with an annual leave calendar, requests, and Kronos with Kewadin Casinos HR Director.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.
