About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 4 years’ Supervisory experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, interpret and evaluate procedures and specifications.
• Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic.
• Self-Motivated & Dependable.
• Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Forklift operations desirable & working in a warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision and guidance to 3rd shift team.
• Provides disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation.
• Assure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with loading of trucks for material delivery.
• Assure work order related documents are completed correctly and on time.
• Exercise sound judgment and leadership for quality decisions.
• Utilize effective judgment in notification of serious matters related to safety, personnel or operational emergencies.
• Supervising material handler in metals processing and distribution work.
• Specialized equipment operation and/or supporting functions in loading trucks.
