About The Position

A Shift Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance and building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures completion of opening and closing procedures.

The role includes supervising store crews and coordinating activities; assisting customers and handling customer-relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintaining customer and patient confidentiality; and completing merchandise tasks such as pricing, stocking, promotional displays, inventory, and department resets.

This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The role may require a flexible schedule that includes some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responding to urgent store issues.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer-relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Execute and maintain off-shelf merchandise displays.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
• Ensure store operations run smoothly and opening and closing procedures are completed when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
