About The Position

Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting, together with food service background at the server level.
• Knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls.
• Ability to work a variable schedule that may include varied shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Micro’s point of sales system is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they meet established brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
• Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage outlets and services, ensuring food is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
• Ensure restaurant and other food and beverage services comply with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on the quality of service and food.
• Perform service functions during periods of high volume or staffing shortages.
• Assist with maintaining proper par levels and inventories of food and beverage supplies, including linen, glassware, silverware, china, and condiments.
• Ensure staff comply with State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure equipment is in working order, report malfunctions, and follow up on repairs.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
