Case Supervisor for Behavioral Supported Living Services

Strategies to Empower People Inc.•Sacramento, CA

About The Position

Strategies to Empower People is hiring a full-time Case Supervisor for Behavioral Supported Living Services. The role serves adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Sacramento County and combines direct client support with supervision, training, and development of direct support staff. The position covers administrative responsibilities—including documentation, reports, and agency compliance—as well as on-site assessments for prospective clients, hands-on support for current clients, and developing and implementing plans, goals, and celebrations for people receiving services. The position works with people who may communicate through challenging behaviors, including severe physical aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. It is not an office-only role: the expected allocation is approximately 75% face-to-face work with clients and 25% administrative work. The position operates from the Sacramento office and in the field throughout Sacramento County. This is a salaried exempt role, initially paid at $34.80 per hour and transitioning to an annual salary of $72,384 after an initial training period. The Case Supervisor is on call Monday through Friday and shares a rotating on-call weekend with the supervisory team, potentially one weekend per month. The role is expected to be an accessible resource for field staff, clients, and staff during the work week. Strategies to Empower People is a 100% employee-owned company that has served adults with I/DD since 1994. The organization aims to support people in becoming as independent as possible at home and in their communities.
