The role involves maintaining positive relationships in locations where equipment is installed and supporting ongoing maintenance budgets.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in and around T-Fired boilers
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • A passion for continuous improvement and learning
  • Time management and prioritization
  • High level ability with blueprint reading
  • Prior experience dissecting technical specifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience of communicating with customers on manufactured equipment projects
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
  • Must be willing to travel 25% (all within the US)

Responsibilities

  • Work with Market Area Manager to develop business segment strategy and monitor progress of business plan goals and objectives.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new leads.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with our existing customers through in-person meetings, lunch and learns, and plant walk downs, to find opportunities to present the full breadth of our offering.
  • Establish a plan to systematically contact every plant we have the capability to serve with routine and systemic follow-up.
  • Provide technical qualifications for new quote requests.
  • Maintain company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner.
  • Accurately manage and maintain all customer information including contacts and call logs.
  • Partner with Marketing and other functional teams on the development and launch of new services and offerings.
  • Identify new product lines and/or opportunities for strategic acquisition.
  • Other duties as necessary to support corporate sales objectives.
  • Own the north Midwest territory. Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas and North. Details of the territory will be confirmed during the hiring process.
  • Manage the active short-term quotes with routine follow up.
  • Communicating with our customers on project status.
  • Champion our Mission, Vision, and Values.
