About The Position

Plugz Electric is looking for a highly driven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and help scale a fast-growing home services business. This is not a sit-back management role—this is for someone who owns the number, drives accountability, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll oversee service, install, and office operations while partnering directly with ownership to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of operations or service management experience (home services preferred)
  • Strong leadership mindset with a focus on accountability and results
  • Experience managing KPIs, performance metrics, and team execution
  • Familiarity with dispatch/scheduling systems (Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, etc.)
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution
  • High ownership mentality—you don’t wait, you act

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across service, install, and CSR teams
  • Ensure jobs are scheduled, dispatched, and completed efficiently
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Drive consistency in execution across the business
  • Own key metrics: revenue, booked calls, average ticket, and gross margin
  • Monitor scorecards and hold the team accountable to targets
  • Partner with field teams to maximize revenue per job
  • Ensure visibility into job costing and profitability
  • Coach, develop, and hold CSRs, technicians, and installers accountable
  • Run regular performance check-ins and team meetings
  • Enforce company standards, expectations, and policies
  • Build a culture of ownership, urgency, and execution
  • Ensure every job reflects our “Love Your Customer” standard
  • Monitor reviews, callbacks, and customer feedback
  • Drive initiatives to improve ratings and customer satisfaction
  • Optimize use of systems (Housecall Pro or similar)
  • Simplify scorecards and reporting for clarity and accountability
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry across operations
  • Manage truck stock strategy and material usage
  • Reduce unnecessary supply runs through better planning
  • Enforce company card usage policies and cost controls
