About The Position

Requirements

• Driver's license
• Your own car with insurance that covers work driving
• Pass background checks
• Work at least 20 hours/week
• Available between 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM)
• Legal right to work in the US
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Pass a competency test (written questions and skills demonstration with 80% on both), unless holding an STNA license or having previously passed an HHA test with 80% or higher.
• For HHA Certificate Path: Possess an HHA certificate (30+ hours, signed by RN unless completed online).
• For Experience Path: Have 1+ year of experience at one company where the supervisor was an RN or LPN (verification required).
• For Free Training Path: Complete a free 32-hour online HHA training course within 6 days.

Nice To Haves

• Open to working in both Stark and Summit counties for a faster start and more hours.
• Flexibility with client limits (pets, smoking, travel distance, days and times) for faster client matching.
• An active or expired STNA license (allows for faster start and higher pay).
• An HHA certificate (30+ hours) for a faster start and higher pay than the free training path.
• 1+ year of supervised experience under an RN or LPN for a faster start and higher pay than the free training path.
• Having passed an HHA test elsewhere with 80% or higher (skips the company's HHA test).

Responsibilities

• Go to people's homes and help with daily life, mostly older adults.
• Assist with baths, getting dressed, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship.
• Help people move around and be on your feet most of the day.
• Follow company policies.
• Accept clients that match the limits provided by the aide.
• Report incidents within 24 hours.
• Clock in and out using an app or phone.
• Follow call-off procedures if unable to make a shift.
• Answer office calls and texts quickly.
• Send updated documents (insurance, license, training) when requested.
• Complete feedback forms when sent.

Benefits

• Starting pay: $18/hour for STNA, $16-18/hour for HHA certificate or experience (based on interview), $16/hour for free training path.
• Higher pay for referring private pay clients: $19/hour for HHA, $20/hour for STNA.
