About The Position

A Field Service Technician will provide shop maintenance and troubleshooting support, maintain MPD and RCD equipment, and maintain and keep Stasis and client quality, health, safety, and environment systems compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong communication in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proactive analytical skills with attention to details and process improvements
  • Ability to follow all required safety instructions as per company policy

  • Ability to work with minimum guidance as well as in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, which includes working around constantly moving overhead machinery, being in close proximity to loud equipment, and handling potentially hazardous materials
  • Exhibit honesty, ethics, determination, active listening, and focus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with rigging up and down all MPD and RCD equipment, attaching and detaching high- and low-pressure steel lines/hoses
  • Install, service, and repair equipment components
  • Use gauges, multi-meters, meggers, scopes, and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions in electromechanical devices and use mechanic tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components
  • Maintain computers and software packages relevant to the design, modification, installation, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Maintain and calibrate process implementation devices, electrical power distribution and monitoring devices, servo drives, and motor controls
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including calibration, using data collectors, testing and diagnostic tools, and computerized maintenance systems
  • Electrical systems integration and troubleshooting of systems, as well as supervision and mentoring other technicians in basic electrical
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure that MPD equipment is functioning properly and meets safety and environmental standards
  • Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and pulling choke apart when necessary to clean and service
  • Take initiative and work independently during downtime
  • Ability to identify choke and RCD components
  • Repair RCD bearings and chokes in a workshop setting
  • Pull and stage inventory and assets for upcoming jobs
  • Operate forklift safely
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and procedures
