About The Position
Piedmont Lube Centers dba Jiffy Lube is hiring an Assistant Manager to join our team! Whether you’re starting your career or looking to grow in the automotive industry, a team-based work environment and real opportunities for advancement into management and ASE-certified roles. We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and support the Store Manager. You’ll play a key role in delivering a great experience to every customer while mentoring team members and ensuring smooth, efficient service.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter with a team-first mindset
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Prior automotive experience
- Reliable and eager to learn and grow
- Comfortable working in shop environments and outdoor conditions
- Weekend availability required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and ensure a positive experience
- Oversee oil changes and basic maintenance services
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify any service needs
- Check tire pressure, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and wipers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Place inventory orders and manage stock levels
- Open and close the store as needed
- Lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager
- Motivate and guide team members to meet performance goals
