About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on guiding customers toward lifelong wellness, achieving sales and productivity goals, developing talent, building community relationships, and supporting ongoing learning and company training initiatives. The Assistant Store Manager also helps maintain store operations, including store upkeep, loss prevention, timely receipt processing, and keeping shelves stocked and products properly priced. Additional duties may be assigned as required. The role requires flexibility to work a schedule and at locations based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at different locations depending on business needs.
Valid driver's license.
3–5 years of retail experience.
Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
Ability to support the development of strong teams.
Passion for the health and wellness industry.

Act as direct support to the Store Manager and execute store priorities with excellence.
Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting others in doing the same.
Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
Build external community relationships that help grow sales.
Lead with integrity and take accountability.
Foster continuous education and support company-driven training initiatives and ongoing learning activities.
Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts on time, and keep shelves stocked and products priced accordingly.
Perform additional duties as required.
