It ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role models outstanding customer service and creates a positive internal and external customer experience. It promotes a culture of honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality. The role takes an active part in the hiring process (scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, etc.) and in the onboarding process of new Associates. It maintains Associate personnel files, performs daily cash office functions and maintains cash office standards. The role supports the Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory and requisition. It maintains proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience, supports and responds to coverage needs throughout the store, and ensures the store team executes tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed. It communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provides progress updates. It provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, and partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness. It ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures. It maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store. It promotes credit and loyalty programs, supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
