Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Personal computer experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to move freely between areas of the building and alternate between standing, sitting, and walking.
• Excellent visual, audio, and manual dexterity skills.
• Ability to function in an environment of occasional high stress.
• Professional appearance, pleasant personality, and good communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong initiative, positive attitude, flexibility, and dependability.
• Ability to function as a team player and cooperate with co-workers, members, and business associates.

Nice To Haves

• Business school or other business training is desired.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions, including deposits, loan payments, cashier's checks, transfers, check cashing, withdrawals, and bank-to-bank wires.
• Proof and verify transactions.
• Examine documents for endorsements and negotiability, and detect and resolve discrepancies.
• Help prevent fraudulent activity and errors that could result in a loss to the credit union.
• Assist in the Call Center by answering member calls and performing transactions.
• Assist members with Online/Mobile banking questions and password resets.
• Provide operational support to other departments as needed.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures and all Resound policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of member information and records.
• Attend required training and department meetings.
• Perform other duties as requested.
