About The Position

Beginnings Credit Union is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Teller with cash drawer experience and the ability to communicate effectively with members. The Teller provides friendly, professional service to members and co-workers while processing financial transactions, supporting members in understanding and using credit union services, and assisting with branch functions.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Up to 6 months of similar or related cash-handling experience.
• Experience using a ten-key calculator and computer keyboard.
• Attention to detail when working with numbers and names.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; Beginnings is unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Verify, enter, and issue receipts for a variety of financial transactions to help members conduct business with Beginnings.
• Provide assistance and information to members to support their understanding and use of Beginnings' services and promote positive member relations.
• Cross-sell credit union services to meet member needs.
• Follow safety and security procedures established by management.
• Balance and maintain an accurate cash drawer by verifying the correct processing and posting of transactions.
• Assist with other branch functions as directed by a supervisor.
