About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must successfully complete Data Entry Exercises.
• Must successfully complete Group C., Teller Vision Simulation, Placement/Performance, and customer contact test.
• Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Required to know basic math.
• Have good customer service skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to speak and read fluent Spanish.
• Must display patience, empathy, a calm demeanor and high degree of professionalism when servicing any and all customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive/process cash payments from customers through utilization of the iNovah software system.
• Process petty cash reimbursements from MLGW employees and process claim invoices, water meter invoices, and general accounting invoices pertaining to work orders.
• Utilize the diebold system to receive and process checks, cash, money order and approved checks payments from customers toward their utility accounts through the drive-thru and over the counter.
• Utilize CIS for customer inquiries pertaining to their utility account.
• Interpret and execute credit card payment policy for customers using their credit card towards utility accounts.
• Reconcile customer payments for bank deposits.
• Process payments received through mail, night depository or company representatives.
• Balance and close out Teller windows.
• Review miscellaneous customer payments and submit to designated internal MLGW departments for processing.
• Contact customers on unsigned or improperly executed payment or errors and maintain reference file for return payment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
