About The Position
This major teaching and research hospital, recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the “Top 10 Hospitals” in Michigan, has been advancing care since 1953. It is a Level II trauma center and has been recognized for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart & vascular, and cancer care. The Staffing Coordinator will maintain safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Staffing and scheduling experience
- Scheduling Experience with ANSOS or equivalent staffing system
Responsibilities
- Create and update daily staffing sheets in ANSOS.
- Cover daily staffing needs for inpatient nursing.
- Monitor employee call-ins.
- Ensure all staffing changes are placed in ANSOS and that staffing levels meet the matrix.
- Make phone calls to employees for staffing needs.
- Oversee the daily activities of the staffing office.
- Provide daily assignments to the staffing secretary.
- Enter exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll.
- Assign Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to units as needed.
- Attend meetings, compile data for reports, and assist Nurse Leaders and Office Supervisor.
- Consistently adhere to Beaumont Customer Service Standards.
