About The Position
The Clare, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Chicago's Gold Coast area, is seeking a compassionate and qualified Server Assistant for their Dining Department. This part-time role involves providing outstanding customer service and making a difference in residents' lives. The position offers variable AM and PM shifts, totaling 20+ hours per week.
Requirements
- Compassionate and highly qualified Server Assistant.
- Love for providing outstanding customer service.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- May be required to disclose vaccination status for MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed by the Dining Room Manager.
- Responsible for the set-up and clean-up of glasses, dishware, and silverware for meal service in all dining rooms.
- Maintains all work and work areas appropriately and in compliance with food code sanitation standards and community policies and procedures.
- Works independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks daily.
- Tasks may include trash removal, operating the dish machine, and special clean-up.
