About The Position

Quail Ridge, a private country club, is seeking a professional, energetic, and service-oriented Server Assistant to join its Food & Beverage team. The Server Assistant supports servers and other team members in creating a seamless dining experience for members and guests. The role requires a helpful, team-oriented approach, attention to detail, initiative, and consistent execution of club service standards. The position involves assisting with dining room setup and upkeep, delivering and clearing service items, supporting food and beverage service, monitoring member needs, and keeping service stations and assigned areas clean and stocked. The Server Assistant also helps with opening and closing duties, communicates requests to servers or managers, collaborates with other club teams, and assists with events and busy service periods. Professional appearance, discretion, sanitation, and safety are expected. Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, hotel, or hospitality environment; preferred but not required.
Previous server assistant, food runner, busser, or front-of-house experience.
Food safety certification; preferred or may be required based on position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Support servers and other Food & Beverage team members throughout the dining experience.
Set, maintain, and reset tables according to Quail Ridge standards.
Ensure tables are clean, organized, and prepared before members and guests are seated.
Deliver and clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other service items as directed.
Refill water and assist with beverage service when appropriate.
Monitor tables and dining areas and respond promptly to member needs.
Assist servers with efficient, professional delivery of food and beverages.
Clear used dishes, glassware, and other items promptly and discreetly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, service stations, and assigned areas.
Keep service stations stocked throughout the shift.
Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and dining room preparation.
Communicate member requests and service needs to the appropriate server or manager.
Work with culinary, bar, host, server, and management teams to support smooth service.
Assist during special events, member functions, and high-volume periods as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
Follow club service standards, sanitation requirements, and safety procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when interacting with members and guests.
