About The Position

The Server Assistant supports the service team by anticipating where help is needed and helping ensure guests have water and servers have the support they need. The role includes maintaining clean service areas, greeting guests, responding to requests, and clearing and resetting tables.

Requirements

• At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
• Positive energy and willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift according to service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated and respond appropriately to guest requests.
• Communicate guest requests to the server as needed.
• Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room and sort it in designated areas of the soiled dish drop-off area.
• Clean and reset tabletops.
