About The Position

The Server Assistant supports restaurant service by anticipating where assistance is needed, keeping guests’ water glasses filled, and helping servers when they need support. The role includes completing assigned side work, maintaining clean service areas, greeting guests, responding to requests, communicating with servers, and cleaning and resetting tables between seatings. The position involves a fast-paced work environment and requires a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

At least one year of restaurant or similar experience is preferred.
Positive energy and willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
Maintain clean service areas throughout the shift.
Greet guests as they are seated.
Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate requests to the server as needed.
Between seatings, take soiled tableware to the dish room and sort it into designated areas in the soiled-dish drop-off area.
Clean and reset tabletops.
Assist fellow support staff and help servers when needed.
