About The Position
Boden Senior Living of Apple Valley, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to support residents, families, and staff in its assisted living, independent living, and memory care community. The role assists with food preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes while helping create an environment that promotes resident well-being. Part-time AM shifts are 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; PM shifts are 3:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m. The listed wage is $15.50–$20.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up room trays and dining room tables.
- Serve meals and bus trays.
- Pour and cover beverages.
- Assist with preparing and covering food.
- Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays when applicable.
- Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
- Maintain a steady work pace to provide an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
- Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
