About The Position

Requirements

• 2+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably with experience in group, meetings, corporate transient, or a combination of these segments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant hospitality experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, negotiate, and convert new business across multiple market segments.
• Understanding of the group sales cycle, including lead qualification, proposals, site inspections, negotiations, contracting, and turnover to operations/events.
• Experience managing corporate accounts, including RFPs, negotiated rates, account production, and preferred hotel programs.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, group pace, need periods, and overall revenue strategy.
• Confident, professional, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with a strong desire to hunt for new business while growing existing accounts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative boutique/lifestyle hotel environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Delphi/FDC, CRM platforms, CVENT, Agency360/Hotelligence, or similar hotel sales tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Growing existing corporate accounts
• Actively developing new business throughout the local market
• Prospecting, developing relationships, negotiating, and converting new business across multiple market segments
• Managing corporate accounts, including RFPs, negotiated rates, account production, and preferred hotel programs
• Participating in networking events, client entertainment, industry functions, sales trips, and occasional travel
