About The Position
General Parts Group is seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to join their team. This role involves servicing and repairing restaurant equipment at various customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, and schools. The company has a strong history of over 80 years and is one of the largest Foodservice Equipment Support companies in the US, with a service force of over 200 technicians across 26 states. They emphasize employee development through training and certifications, aiming to provide the most qualified professionals in the industry.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA certification required for refrigeration techs
- Ability to work independently in the field
Nice To Haves
- Experience in commercial cooking equipment (fryers, ovens, grills)
- Experience in commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins)
- Combo technicians with experience in both cooking and refrigeration equipment
