Anthropic is seeking a GSOC Response & Policy Program Specialist to establish how the company's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) detects, responds to, and recovers from incidents impacting personnel, facilities, and operations. This role involves creating the GSOC plan and policy, including defining functions, a severity matrix, communication templates, and service levels. The specialist will develop global incident-specific response protocols for various regions, translating them into actionable playbooks for operators and business-facing partners. A key responsibility is designing a scalable on-call rotation and call tree to ensure consistent Incident Commander coverage. The role requires navigating approvals through Legal, HR, and Communications, securing senior leadership signoff, and then implementing training and rollout. The specialist will also assist in incident response, coordinate escalations to Incident Commanders, and serve as the liaison between GSOC and Crisis Management. The objective is to create an approved, actionable standard for both the GSOC and the business, ensuring it remains current as the program scales globally. The scope encompasses on-site, off-site, and travel-related incidents, including natural disasters, across all Anthropic operating regions. Note: This position may involve exposure to graphic and disturbing content and requires on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
