Clinic Practice Manager III is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, strategic oversight, and operational performance of one or more ambulatory or surgical clinics supporting 10+ providers. This role ensures that clinic operations run efficiently, provider and staff performance is optimized, patient care standards are upheld, and all compliance and regulatory requirements are met. Reporting to the Director of Ambulatory or Surgical Clinics and partnering closely with the Clinic Medical Director, the Practice Manager III serves as a key point of coordination for administrative, financial, and clinical workflow management. This position may also oversee one or more Clinic Office Supervisors and/or Nursing Supervisors, depending on clinic structure and volume. Key responsibilities include managing provider accountability and performance, leading cross-functional teams, driving clinic-level quality improvement initiatives, and overseeing financial operations—including budget management, billing compliance, and revenue cycle coordination. Practice Manager II also functions as the clinic’s EPIC super user, leveraging system tools and reporting dashboards to monitor performance metrics, optimizing provider access, and guiding operational improvements. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing patient experience, driving staff and provider engagement, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the clinic. The Practice Manager II ensures care delivery aligns with the organization’s mission of providing patient-centered, data-informed, and accessible healthcare services in a compliant, efficient, and compassionate manner.
