About The Position
The Manager in Training is responsible for the effective overall operation of the store and service center through motivational leadership. The role delivers expected sales and customer service throughout the unit and ensures that the store and service center operate safely, according to established policies and procedures, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The position provides technical, administrative, operational, and motivational direction to develop a dynamic, high-performance team.
Requirements
- Two years of related experience in retail management, preferably automotive.
- Completion of a two-year college or technical school program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with proven results.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Approachability, customer focus, drive for results, and integrity and trustworthiness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Sound business sense.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Practical math and reading skills.
- Current, valid driver's license issued in the state of residence.
- Equipment Safety Certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales, profit, and productivity.
- Deliver customer service.
- Manage merchandise presentation and facility maintenance.
- Lead and develop a high-performance team.
- Ensure safe operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations.
