About The Position

As a Content Marketing Intern at Cloudflare, you will play a vital role in shaping the voice of our brand and engaging our audience across various digital platforms. You will contribute to creating compelling content that attracts potential customers and keeps our current community informed and engaged throughout their journey with Cloudflare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your writing skills, understand digital content strategy, and learn about the intersection of technology, marketing, and global reach. You will be a key contributor to our team, bringing fresh perspectives and a passion for storytelling to our content initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your writing samples across different formats (e.g., blog posts, articles, essays).
  • Demonstrable understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) principles.
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and adaptably for various digital platforms and audiences.
  • Strong research skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Available for a full-time 20-week internship (minimum 12 weeks), working from our Singapore office 3-5 days a week from July - December.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals.
  • Research, write, and edit engaging blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure all content reflects Cloudflare's brand voice and maintains a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Learn and apply best practices in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) to optimize content for discoverability.
  • Adapt writing style and tone for various digital platforms and target audiences, understanding the nuances of each channel.
  • Contribute to content planning and brainstorming sessions, bringing creative ideas to the table.
  • Support the team in analyzing content performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
