About The Position

INTELEX is a specialized language services and outsourcing provider with experience in interpretation, transcription, customer support, AI and data collection, language recruitment, and operations services. The company serves customers across the United States, Canada, Germany, and other locations.

The Medical Interpreter provides accurate and timely interpretation between Spanish- and English-speaking patients and healthcare providers in a 100% remote role. The work includes simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, appropriate use of medical terminology, and facilitating clear, culturally appropriate communication in medical settings. Interpreters must be available for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments. Full-time and part-time availability is offered, with shifts available 24/7.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• At least 3 months of professional interpretation experience; this is a must, and interpretation experience must be included on the resume.
• Proven expertise in the medical or legal sector.
• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory-retention skills.
• A professional, HIPAA-compliant setup.
• A wired USB headset with noise cancellation.
• Internet connection with at least 10 Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed.

Responsibilities
