About The Position

INTELEX is seeking a skilled medical interpreter fluent in Arabic and English for a fully remote role. The interpreter provides accurate, timely interpretation to support effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. The work includes simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, correct use of medical terminology, and clear, culturally appropriate communication in medical settings. The position may involve over-the-phone or video remote interpretation, or scheduled appointments. Full-time and part-time availability is offered, with shifts available 24/7. Compensation is $9 per connected hour, or $0.15 per minute.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of professional interpretation experience; applicants must include their interpretation experience on their resume.
• Proven expertise in the medical or legal sector.
• Availability for over-the-phone or video remote interpretation, or scheduled appointments.
• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory-retention skills.
• Professional, HIPAA-compliant setup.
• Wired USB headset with noise cancellation.
• Internet connection with at least 10 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download speeds.
