About The Position

The Medical Interpreter provides remote Punjabi<>English interpretation to support communication between patients and healthcare providers. The role includes delivering accurate and timely interpretation, performing simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, using medical terminology appropriately, and facilitating clear, culturally appropriate communication in medical settings. Interpreters must be available for over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI), or scheduled appointments. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, including 24/7 shifts.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of professional interpretation experience; interpretation experience must be included on the resume.
• Proven expertise in the medical or legal sector.
• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
• Strong listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
• A professional, HIPAA-compliant setup.
• A wired USB headset with noise cancellation.
• Internet connection with at least 10 Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed.

Responsibilities
