About The Position

This position provides interpreting and translation services and administrative support while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. It is an A Shift position for team members currently working at this facility or complex. Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. The role is based in a food production environment that may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, wet conditions, moisture, noise, food production odors, moving equipment, and a fast-paced work setting. Employees must follow applicable safety, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and company procedures, and use required personal protective equipment. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Candidates must have an excellent safety record with no active safety violations, must not have had a suspension in the previous 12 months, and must have completed the 90-day probationary period. Employees must have and maintain three or fewer attendance points under the UKG attendance policy. The position is not eligible for relocation assistance or referral payout.

Requirements

Must be currently working at the facility or complex.
Must have an excellent safety record and no active safety violations.
Must not have had a suspension in the previous 12 months.
Must have completed the 90-day probationary period.
Must have and maintain three or fewer attendance points under the UKG attendance policy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to meet business objectives.
Dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and other applicable company policies and procedures.
Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures.
Ability to work in a food production environment, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures, moisture, wet conditions, noise, odors, and a fast-paced setting.
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment, which may include hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
