Security Officer Part Time Truck Gate

About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to provide customer service and security patrols at a food and beverage production location in Clinton, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. The position is scheduled for daytime hours on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and pays $14.18 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Document observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
